I want to get a jean jacket but I'm not sure what kind of pants to wear with it. Does it look weird to wear with jeans? I don't want to be covered head to toe in denim.
Any fashion savvy people, please help out!

Never wear denim with denim!!! I've made that mistake before. I guess yuo can call me a "fashion savvy" person so I will tell you what looks best. I found out that a cute above the knee flowing skirt in white or black or mixed colors looks best. But not a denim skirt. You are right about wearing too much denim that just looks bad. Or wear cordoroy caparis ( you can find at hollister) or tan pants, white pinstripe pants or black pinstripe pants. Happy 2007!!!

Well if you wear the jean jacket, make sure you have a hoody under it, with the hood sticking out the back of the jacket. That way it gives balance if you wear the jeans. But I think Khaki's look better with a jean jacket.

Never wear a denim jacket with jeans...it looks very tacky. The only time that you can wear both together is if your jacket is cropped, and you are wearing the opposite shade of denim for your bottom. Be sure to wear a light colored t-shirt or tank inside so not all the attention is on the denim!

Wear black pants, or white pants. A-line skirts look cute with jean jackets. But never NEVER wear jeans with a jean jacket.

Well, pretty much anything but jeans. Or atleast jeans in the same color as the jacket. I prefer khakis, or some corduroy pants. I have an awesum pair from American Eagle, they come in all different lengths too.

For denim don't go all out head to toe denim it looks tacky and really like you're stuck in the late 80's. With a jean jacket I think a good pair of light colored khakis would work perfectly.

Its ok with jeans--but it is a bit too western for me.

I actually prefer to wear jean jackets with something like a causual pastel mini.

Pants--do something causual and light colored. I think it is best to kind of set the jacket off--so that it looks just slightly out of place--but fits in at the same time. Maybe kahki cargos--don't make it anything too formal.

Well, you most definatley can't wear the jean jacket with jeans...I'll give you a few options
* Ok you can wear a pair of brown pants(plain/professional)
*Or you can wear a pair of cakis....tan, brown, black(but they have to be loose fitting...not baggey just not tight)

Definitely do not wear jeans. I'd say corduroy, khaki, etc. This can be either a skirt or pants.

I wear a denim jacket with jeans. It also looks nice with dark colored jeans (like black) or a jean skirt.
