I located a file that is called sufbtchf.exe and sufbtchf.tpl and I think that they are viruses or spyware because I get the warning messages from windows that they are trying to access the internet.
But when I locate the file and right click to delete, it tells me that access is denied....
How do I get around that?

My spyware and virusware programs are not locating this file and deleting it so I want to know how to do it manually.

Maybe try signing in as the administrator, and delete it.

Most antivirus and spyware programs will find the culprit files and delete them for you. If it's not being found by those programs as malicious, at least you know it's not THAT bad.

And lots of programs access the internet -- in case you weren't aware.

There's no mention of either of those files, if you Google them. Are you sure you spelled them correctly? Usually when you find something suspicious, you can search it on Google to find info on it.

You need to run your AVG from grisoft.com in Safe Mode. You get there by continually tapping F8 while booting up. If you see the Windows flag you have gone too far. Reboot again and do the F8 till you see the black and white DOS screen. Choose Safe Mode.

Then lay mouse over generic icons till you find AVG and scan from there. Hope this works for you.

Can you nail it in safe mode? Run a search for those files on your C drive and delete them. Good luck!

Go to this web site. I've used it for "years" and allow it to scan your PC. If that is a virus it will take care of it OR tell you how.
