Hmm, What conference has had the most in the top 10?... Oh, that would be SEC... Yeah, that is what I thought... There is no conference that could compare to SEC schedules... Not to mention the SEC sent 9 teams to bowl games this year... Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida... Yeah, pretty much all other conferences have nothing on that. Thank you...

Which is funny, because I'd say they are tied...I guess the SEC has the best individual athletes, but its hard to play against the smash mouth style of football the Big Ten Plays

I agree that the big east is third...and As of right now, the Big Ten is Kicking the SEC's but.

Penn state, the fourth best team in the big ten beat Tennesee, and Wisconsin the third best team in the Big Ten just beat Arkansas, who was in the SEC championship game...

obviously the big one hasnt been played yet but It looks like for at least this year the Big Ten is tops

SEC by a long shot. No conference has better defenses, or better teams top to bottom. The big ten had 3 teams that won more than 8 games, the SEC had 6.

Big 10... after the bowl games are over, there is a very real posibility that the top 3 teams in the country will look like this..

1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. Wisconsin

How can you argue with that. Also, it's looking like unranked Penn St, whos only 3 losses came from OSU, Mich, and Wisc, is beating #17 Tenn. The big 10 is where it's at.

Top three, in no order, in my opinion, are the Big Ten, the SEC, and the Big East (YES, I said Big East).

I believe that year in and year out the SEC is the better and most competitive conference as the bowl picture usually indicates.

Your co-workers are right, the Pac-10 is the toughest. Look at USC, Oregon, UCLA, and Cal.
