I listened to this on the plane over Xmas Vacation. Most of the songs are just very nice and peaceful, and the lyrics give you something to think about. I recommend getting the full albums from each of the bands/artists I listed above, there are tons of other great songs.

If you like Alternative, try Cartel.
They have some really good songs that are make you think.
Most of the time they are upbeat too.
