I want to get the EMS LCD TopGun PC light gun but before I do I want to know if there is any software that allows it to be used as a mouse.

It comes with software with it. It has a hat button on the back of the gun where the hammer of some guns would be. this allows the use of it to be a mouse and there are buttons around the gun that are programiable using the software. Buttons (start, select,A,B,C,(D is the Trigger)) It uses a laser pointer and if you want a recoil action plug in the second USB plug.

Good luck I have two hooked up and play MAME games with them no problems. Altho it takes a little time setting up TWO guns.
