Windows Media Player 11 visualization not showing, why?

This is becoming a little of an irritation! Ever since I upgraded to WMP 11 the visualizations dont work. Even tried installing other visualizations to try get it going but to no avail...

That's because the new media player doesn't have codec. You have to install that separately. Go to the website below, download the divx codec. But make sure to only download the codec and nothing else, the other things that come with it and just a waste of the memory.
