Wait, you mean that more people are prejudiced against emos? But yeah I can definitely see that. I know quite a few, I love emos, but I can whip out quite a few emo jokes in a heartbeat haha.
It's really sad though, because first off all nobody should be stereotyped or prejudiced against, but they really are just expressing themselves.
I'd never become emo (eh all my friends are preps and I just couldn't), but I listen to a lot of rock, hardcore, metal, and even emo stuff, and I've become friends with a lot of fans of bands I like, and people that want to look emo..goth..anything! are still just like me.

I had to look up what emos are and here is the definition for those of you who don't know
emos are a group of people that are similar to goths, they wear alot of black, tight jeans and a tight uually black hooded zipped jumper. they listen to alot of pop punk and gothik music.the classic Emo fringe (which i have and love) covers alot of the face usually just to one side. converse one of the many types of foot where worn by emo's.
not all emos cut themselves, but alot do. i for one dont and i no all of my emo freinds dont. emo is short for Emotional, which does point out we are emotional people. yer we cry, what u gunna do about it. chavs usually hav fun shouting at emos stuf like "awww is little emo kid gunna go cry" this aint funni Emos leave them alone so why pick on us we didnt do anything to you.

No didn't know, here where I live there aren't that much gays and africanamerican, and almost nobody knows what an Emo is.

didn't know much about emos. I think it's a stupid trend and if I have to kill everyone who says "I'm emo" the trend will end.
