Hello,
Me and my girl are trying to conceive. But it seems that she got some vaginal infection lately. There is a slight white discharge from her vagina and the doc says that its urine infection and recommended pills for her. (Candid V3 and Fas3kit and Zocon 150).
Its happened 3 times in that last 3 months.
1st time was a sudden one and we don't have any answer why it could have happened.
2nd time, we had gone out on a trip and she held peeing often due to long travelling hours in bus and she also did not have good intake of fluids. Could this be one of the reason why she catch the infection immediately after the tour.
3rd time - Since we are trying to conceive, after I ejaculate inside her, she sleeps with her knees to her chest for 20 mins and then sleeps without washing her private parts in order to conceive quick. She washes only after around 6 -8 hours? Could this be the reason as well?
Thanks and we are really frustrated over the same and I look to hear serious response.

If its a yeast infection (which is prob is if she was prescribed candid V3) you need to be treated too and you need to abstain from intercourse until you have both completed the course of treatment. If she has just been treated you are probably reinfecting her every time.
BOTH GET TREATMENT!;

It can be very frustrating to not know what is going on and you are continuously sick and you believe that things should work better.
It sounds like your girl does have a yeast infection and this needs to be fixed separate to the conception problem.
Some areas to look into to try and cure the reoccurrence of the infection.
A yeast infection can be passed between partners so it would be wise that both of you get treated you may be carrying a yeast infection and not showing symptoms and then reinfecting your girl which is possible.
Yeast infections like damp moist areas and it is advisable that your girl washes after sex. There is a fluid that is present and depending on the girl will last longer or shorter amounts of time if you have sex while this fluid is present the sperm are able to swim up through the vagina and conception is then possible. Sleep curled up wont help the sperm reach the egg. Washing after woulds wont stop you falling pregnant and sleeping in the curled up position wont help either.
Diet can also add to the susceptibility of a yeast infection. If you are both eating a lot of sugar this will give the candida bacteria more food to live on and a higher risk of return so try a different diet which will help in the long term solution of keeping thrush away.
Other things that can lead to more likely hood of thrush is tight clothing especially synthetic.
Medication is good to take to get rid of it but there is normally a root problem to thrush and this needs to be solved to allow your girl to be healthy

Hi, I am an RN, Ok look, the white discharge is usually a thrush/ yeast infection; this is fairly common for different reasons, tight clothing, to much washing down below, or using perfumed soaps. So it’s one of those things women get, to prevent tell your girl to drink plenty of water and drink cranberry juice daily. If this does happen again a Canesten pessary can be used and then a topical Canesten cream. To be on the SAFE SIDE, why don’t you BOTH go and get checked out for STD’S. Sometimes they can present themselves with those symptoms. If your trying for a baby then it’s probably a good idea anyways, but also, after you have sex, washing down below wont de- crease or increase her chances of conceiving. Eating yoghurt or even applying it to her Vagina will help the yeast infection.

You could be the culprit by keeping infecting her. Are you sure you don't have any kind of infection yourself? How old is she?...young girls tend to get a lot of yeast infection and urinary tract infections...I know I did and I was not having sex at the time. Have her start to eat a yogurt a day to decrease her risk of having an infection.

Well honey you are not the reason she is. No matter what when you are even trying to conceive, you still need to wash your private part. All the bacteria that is coming from sex could be inside of her just for that. Did she drink lots of water when on the trip? If so that's what cused the peeing. If not then she might just be nervous or something.
SOLUTION: Take the pills the doctor gave her and tell her to drink lots and lots of water to clean out her urine and/or bladder. This may prevent the infection and from having STD or HIV.
Don't worry i hope yall have the baby! Remember: At least tell her to drink the water like i told you. Im telling you so it could at least get her used to pee and it being clear.
If her pee is yellow that means she is drinking soda's, juice etc. Which is not healthy if she wants to get rid of the infection. Drink water!

The 2nd time, sounds like she probably had a Urinary Tract Infection. Holding off peeing and inadequate intake of fluids can cause that.
As for the 3rd time, did she pee before and after sex? Not peeing before and after sex can cause bacteria to build up and cause infection. The bacteria from her urine could get to her vagina since the urethra and vagina are close neighbors. Also, it sounds like you need treatment too as you could be carrying the bacteria and be reinfecting her.

You both need to visit a sexual health or family planning clinic and get your infections resolved, I think you need to be checked out as its possible you are transmitting bacterial infections back and forth. I absolutely do NOT recommend getting pregnant until these issues are resolved. Its dangerous for the baby to be exposed to the infections. Also, always (both of you!) pee after sex, and wash your parts. It is not necessary for her to hold her knees up and wait several hours before doing so.
