I've been enjoying playing around with Yahoo Answers, until today, when I suddenly seemed to get some really insulting answers to some perfectly innocuous questions.
I just don't understand why people feel the need to be rude, crude, personal and insulting. Someone even called me a sick sikh and suggested I cut off my topknot so I could think straight. This, presumably, based on my screen name, which is nothing to do with reality.
What is wrong with these people?

Although some people on here love winding people up as well as inciting hatred of all forms, there are a lot of friendly folk here to listen and help too. Dont let silly answers put you off.

Unfortunately society has become so 'dumbed down' that inadequate people feel free to impose their stupidity on everyone else. They are of course fully aided and abetted by Yahoo who only seem to threaten relatively innocent people.
Because it is anonymous, this site also allows the cowardly bullies and racists to come out of the woodwork and say their venomous pieces.
In some ways it is to the benefit of the moral majority to know what these social vermin are thinking and saying, but it does make decent people fell dirty having to read it sometimes.

Just had a look at your questions and the insults that you received. Crazy eh? There are, unfortunately, many idiots out there....p1sses you off I know, but try not to let them ruin things for you, it is what they want. There are more of us that are pleasant and mature.

Some people just can't take a joke. Others want to be obnoxious and insult you by giving mundane answers.
So what should we do? Report them if necessary.

i agree with you.
People in here are insulting and rude. No need for it at all.
Not all are the same but just rate the bad answers and they wont be able to comment again.
But it so gets your back up doesnt it.
They are all proberbly 5ft tall men who wouldnt say boo to a goose in the street. total losers!!!!!!

The good thing about Answers is everyone is allowed on here and the bad thing is anyone is allowed on here. Perhaps there should be a separate 'Adolescent Answers' for the adolescent-minded?
