My friend and I were at a club, we went in my car.We agreed to stay until closing time. She changed her mind and wanted me to take her home early. I did and got a ticket. I think it is her fault because it would have not happened if we stuck to orignial plans. what is yr opinion?

Driver's fault. Maybe you could have given her the keys.

That said, I've done road trips in the past where, by agreement all passengers would split the tickets (since we all drove about the same and who was driving through a speed trap was a matter of luck).

you chose to take her home, you were in control of the car ... so therefore it was your actions that got you the ticket, you could have told her no that you were in no condition to drive and she should call someone else. Sorry I can't go along with it's her fault.

IT'S YOUR TICKET, YOU WERE THE DRIVER, YOU PAY FOR IT. DON'T TRY TO BLAME THIS ON YOUR FRIEND. YOU WERE SPEEDING.
