I've been wanting to get my ear pierced at the top of my ear,but I'm scared it's gonna hurt big time!! Does it really hurt that much??

u need to know your own level of pain, no it did not hurt me but u need to make sure this sis somehting u can handle

i have my ear pierced at the top and it didn't hurt at all. It feels like getting your ear peiced at the bottom of your ear. Just becareful where ever you go because that part of your ear can get easily infected. I recomend a tatoo parlor cuz they are extremly sterile.

Pinch the top of your ear with your fingers...chances are you felt very little. Remember, there isn't that many nerves there in cartlidge.
As for how painful it is, I can't say as I've never gotten that area pierced. It also depends on your thershold of pain.

i remember the 1st time i went to get a piercing i got an industrial & i was freaking out, lol. but i promise you it's not bad at all. feels like a pinch & then it's over. if you're worried, just make sure you take a deep breath & breathe out when the needle is goin through bc breathing out actually slows down your nerves/pain receptors.

I had to get it done twice because the first one healed. Te first time i got it done it hurt but it was only for a second. The second time that I got it done it hurt because they were going through scare tissue. But it is quick so it only hurts for a second.

ive always thought cartilage piercing was trashy, especially since the look nowadays is classy. but a friend of mine who's had it done said it hurt quite a bit, and it was sore for many days. but hey, whats a little pain if you want it badly enough?

I have no idea about the pain, I once knew someone who would let it close up just to get it pierced again because she liked the popping sound.

it depends on wear u get it pierced my friend got it done she said it didn't hurt it just gets sore but she is a little bit younger than me and she said if u don't clean it it gets really sore!
