what happens to the roses used on the rose parade floats?

They showed this on a "Dirty Jobs" show (Discovery Channel). The floats are taken to a warehouse and dismantled, where the organic material is scraped off and discarded, and the wire framework is cut apart and taken to a scrap yard.

Some of them are made into poupori. By the way the Stealth bomber from the rose parade buzzed my house. that *@$%! woke me up.
