They're on a fuel rail on the intake manifold. The intake manifold is on the passenger side of the engine, bolted to the cylinder head. You'll need to release the pressure in the fuel rail before removing it, and the injectors will then more or less pop out.

I myself have changed 4 injectors on my DOHC KA motor in the past month due to the mandatory 10% ethanol additive in my county gumming them up.

in the cylinder head 1 4 each .(on the top of the engine). cylinder petrol or diesel the latter also has glow plugs either above or below injectors
