You know after using a puck for a while, it won't slide on the table any more? Can you use sand paper or what to restore the puck so it will float properly again?

I'd just get a new one. For the puck to float without hooking one direction or another, I'm assuming it needs to be symmetrical and balanced. Repairs with tape or glue would imbalance the weight of the puck, I'm guessing.

Go get a new one. How expensive can they be?

You can try sand paper then furniture polish to smoothen it out. If you cant get to a store to get a new one try this web-site to order some in the States: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=blended%26field-keywords=air%20hockey%20accessories%26results-process=default%26dispatch=search/ref=pd_sl_ov_tops-1_blended_26309363_1&results-process=default?tag2=over-adv-20
