The Mirage is more upscale and much more romantic..Steve Wynn built Treasure Island as a family destination alternative to the Mirage..
The pool area at the Mirage is one of the nicest in LV and their buffet is now rated #1 by the LVA..
If someone was offering me a choice I would stay at the Mirage...
If you're interested in staying at the Mirage - go to their web site and sign up for e-mail updates - They are very good about sending e-mail specials -

I believe it may be better to plan a short trip there for a day or two very soon just to look things over so you can be sure of your choices. If I had to choose between The Mirage or Treasure Island (now known as TI), I would choose The Mirage.
There are sooo many choices so you need to choose based on what you like and what you are willing to pay for.

They are next to each other and are about the same level in quality and service. The Mirage has more of a tropical theme and Treasure Island has a pirate theme. If I was you I would look at some pictures on the internet to see which one is more to your taste or think about which theme would be more to your liking from the description. You won't go wrong in either choice.
Congratulations on the wedding!
By the way I prefer Treasure Island

Aloha from Down Unda!
Did you mean...
"I'm going to Vegas in May. Should I stay at the Mirage or Treasure Island? I'm 28 & getting married there in May." ?
If so, then Mirage is your answer.
If not, Treasure Island would be about right.

I got married at Ceasers Palace. It was beautiful. Our pictures turned out fantastic. The Hotel treated us like royalty. They sent all kinds of gifts to us throughout our stay. Champagne & Strawberries. A picnic basket/ backpack with engraved Ceasers champagene glasses. Fruit baskets. We stayed in a suite and it had his and her bathrooms with an ajoining shower. I was pleased.
Depending on your budget, Most hotels have diffrent packages. Our wedding was only $900. (no reception) this included my simple small bunch of 1dozen white with pink tip roses (no ugly babies breath and ferns) all the negitives and a very nice Photo album. The video was $99. we opted no on it, but they mailed it to us anyway 2 months later. (what a great surprise!)
But if I had to choose between Mirage and Treasure Island I'd go with Mirage. : ) .

The Mirage is a very neat place to visit. I've never stayed there in my 2 trips to Vegas. I stayed at the MGM Grand in May and it was a very clean and nice place to stay at. Congrats to you and your hubby-to-be!

You should go to Vegas before you get married just to see which hotel you should stay at because not every ones personality is the same.

They are both about the same.
My advice would be to try The Venician. Its more expensive, but it is your wedding and you are only doing this once, get it right.
I have never stayed there, but it will have the romantic feel to it you are looking for; it is 5 stars but not as pricey as Belagio or The Wynn. Give it a shot; you won't regret it.
