Was he or she gay? Wrestling is such an uncomfortable sport and that some people can actually do that in public is still making me wonder. Or even in private. These wrestlers must be really desperate for a touch. That people watch it makes it even worse. Don't you have something better to watch?

Wrestling goes back to at least Greek and Roman times (mind you that was REAL unchoreographed wrestling) probably further. It was used, when all else (like swords and spears) failed, in warfare. So the guy who originally invented it was probably thinking "Oh s**t, how do I get this Greek/ Roman/ Trojan/ Whatever off my back, so I can get away?"

Nobody forces you to watch it. I'm a wrestling fan, and I will always be a wrestling fan. I love this sport! It made me a better person, and it gave me heroes. You don't need to understand that, just let us watch what we want.
PS: Wrestling fans are not stupid (I'm studying medicine) and wrestlers aren't either (Shane Douglas was a teacher before, Goldberg studied psychology, Raven studied law and has an IQ of 148). They love this sport, that's why they started wrestling.

the inventor of wrestling must be really hurt by all the hurtful things being said about him. I bet he is crying into the million and million of dollars he has made from this business. so to clarify the person who invented wrestling was thinking about the money when he was inventing wrestling

I am assuming you are talking about pro wrestling, which in my book is not a sport at all. It may be entertainment to pubescent boys, but not to anyone with an IQ over 3.
If you are talking about real wrestling, it's not my cup of tea, but to each his own.

If you don't like this kind of recreational sport why bother with it? Personally think it that there are many different types of this game so something might have been lost in the translation. live and let live eh?

wrestling is not stupid. why are you so conserned. it sounds like you want to get in to it so you can get touched. we watch it because we want to . while people like you sit at home and watch brokeback mtn. and complain about wrestling fans that probley beat you up.

The same people that take it seriously are the same people that probably think Nascar is a great "sport".
