you can feed oscar fish prettymuch anything you find in a salad !! romaine lettuce !! organic though shelled peas!! comets , and many other flakes and pellets !! never feed them iceberg lettuce!!!!!! i would recommend comets and shrimp pellets and cichlid stapels (bio-Gold) found at any walmart in the pet section!
i also would recommend 55 gallon tank for two oscars .. you may be able to put it in a 40 but not always healthy! if so look for signs of being unhealthy!
