My son is 13 and I need some advice. When he was about 9-10 I found several pairs of womans panties hidden in his bathroom. I threw them away not knowing where they come from. Several times over the next few weeks I kept finding more and more of them stashed. I confronted him and asked where he was getting them. He told me form his friends moms, sisters or my sister in law. I talked to him about why this was not ok and explained I understand he has "feelings" and tried not to make a big deal out of it. Now today, I am my moms house and her and my sister in law tell me that for several years he has been "stealing" their panties and they find them stashed under things. They have set him up tpo make sure it is him and it is. Now I am not sure what to do. Is this a normal thing for boys or should I be concerned for some reason? It is only panties and nothing else. He is all boy in every other way. HELP ME!!!!!

He has a panty fetish, plain and simple. Panty fetishism is a sexual fetish relating to women's panties. It can also involve printed or electronic material depicting exposure of panties, usually of a softcore nature.

They also enjoy the variety of styles and fabrics available. Others may use them as a method to express their softer or "feminine" side. They do not necessarily see them as sexual objects, but simply as another form of clothing. Some men may also wear panties and other female attire in cross-dressing.

Instead of telling him what you want him to know...ask him to tell you about his interest in women's panties. Depending on his response, you can then decide what your next step should be. If he wants them because of color, texture, etc...ask if something else (some other kind of fabric items) would be as interesting to him. If he thinks he should have been born a girl...begin counselling, if he thinks he's gay (and if that bothers you)...get counselling for both of you. See, you don't have enough information regarding this situation to really get some effective help. In the meantime, don't let anyone make fun of him and don't tell any people in your lives that really aren't involved and who would judge him.
