Tyler Perry has a unique talent of making real life situations funny and he comically look at both sides of each situation from a male and female point of view. Also, he can relay a very good lesson to any situation in a very funny fashion without sounding like he is preaching or demeaning a person. Even if it sounds like he is demeaning a person, you know it is because he wants to get his point across to the trouble maker, he cares or trying to empower a loved one that is in trouble.

Circumstances help mold us into who we are. I guess it's his upbringing and and life challenges that he had to face, he made them in to jokes. If you realize, all comics are dysfunctional in their real lives? They have been through so much, that the only way to cope, is to make fun of it. That's just my observation. For example, Rosie, Elen, Dave S, Whoopi, All the kings of comedy, Martin Lawrence just to name a few. All full of issues. LOL
