It is not in most cultures. It is just in the american culture. The sad thing is the afro-americans help contribute to it through some of their own culture. rapping about guns violence gangs.

There are plenty of afro-americans who are great examples of how to be a good human but the bad ones get more attention.
It also doesn't help to have so many afro-americans in prison.

In the first place, I don't think most cultures believe that.

In the second place you need to understand that in the U.S. they have not always been able to get the same jobs and the same education as others races have. Anyone, including other races, living in poverty will be effected by drugs and criminal issues. This is changing over time as they get their feet under them.

Ask yourself what would you do if you needed food to feed your family and didn't have enough money to get it? What would that lead to for you? Would it be easy to say that no matter what was happening in your life you would never resort to a criminal activity?

IT is because they are portrayed as criminals that they become criminals. Its a steretype that has been brain washed into our minds by the news, the few blacks that do commit crimes, are hardly ever given a second chance, actually that goes for almost all criminals today... the worst part is, that most of the crimes are perpetuated by this stereotype, because how many middle class or upper class people in society, white or black, rob, steal, etc... MOST criminals (at least the ones who get caught) are poor.

That's largely a product of, and propaganda of the western media, which unfortunately is transported elsewhere.

There is a purpose in presenting a certain group of people in a negative, fearful, criminal act. I don't deny that blacks commit criminal acts, but how often do we hear of other ethnicities who do the same or worse?

Those who "question authority" have to ask themselves: "Who benefits from this characterization?"

Because they are. Look at the statistics. Unfortunately they have a criminal culture made worse by the whites who make excuses for them.

It does seem like the darker the skin the more some people assume things about them. Isn't it just so sad? Maybe this will change in a few more years.

Because they commit most of the crimes! And then document it on an album. The great thing about the thug life is that it is usually a pretty short one.

People with a solid 'cultural' background never label different cultural groups in a denigratory way. Ignorance is what makes people discriminate. Personally I love black people, have many black friends, and a black boyfriend that I adore! Peace.

I love my beautiful black people, but they do commit the lion's share of the crime, far beyond what statistics show. Places that are inhabited with black people have so much crime much of it goes overlooked.

That's why they'd rather work alongside me. They just aren't considered criminals, I don't think like that.
