I am new to Myspace and I dont' know how to send a request to a friend. I am searching by school and I get a whole list of profiles but next to each I only see things like View Profile, Send Message etc. I dont' want to send a message but rather, send a request.

When you find someone's profile and you want to add them as your friends, click on view profile. It will then take you to their main page. Underneath theri picture is a box that you can click to add someone. Some people have it so you have to type in their last name or e-mail address in order to add them as a friend. After you click on add me, it will send a friend request message to that person. That person then have the option to accept, deny, or send a message. If the person accepts, you can then view their profile (especially if he or she has it set on private) by viewing your friends from your homepage or myspace page.

you add a person from their myspace page, you can't do it from the list. so you will have to go thru everyone on the list and once their page is loaded then "usually on the left" side there is a box the has in it a link that says "Add To Friends" click it and then it brings up a confirm page it will ask you if you really want to add this person as a friend. click "Add to Friends"

just click on their profile page and on the left side there will be a box of options (send message etc) and friend request is in there

ok so click on view profile then when ur on their space thing underneath the picture of them theres normally a box with like add me messae me rate me ect... ust click on the add one then on the next screen it will ask if your sure you want to add so-and-so as your friend, clik yes or no
