is there any way to change the back ground color of a text box?

Jeffrey that didn't do anything the text box is still white

This is done through the style directive as in below.....you can also do this through cascading style sheet.

You can add this segment below under your header part.


Secondly, inside your tag, add the following:
class="textboxbg"

You can adjust the color hex codes to your preference.
These are called the CSS(Cascading Style Sheets).
