Remember, the sum of the degree measures of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees. Therefore:

3x + 4x + 5x = 12x = 180.

x = 180/12 = 15 degrees.

Measure of angle BCA is 3(15) = 45 degrees.

The other angles then are 4(15) = 60 degrees and 5(15) = 75 degrees. Adding these all together, we get:

45 + 60 + 75 = 180.

So, apparently, our analysis is correct.

3x+4x+5x = 180
Solve for x, x = 15
m∠BCA = 3x = 3(15) = 45 degree
