Well you really can't compare the 2 of them. I am a fan of the old SNL Cast (from the beginning to about 1995) and im a fan of Mad TV (From 1999 to present).
The best SNL skits will either have to the be the many commercials that they did (Colon Blow, Hedley & Wyche: The British Toothpaste, Lil' Chocolate Donuts, etc) or Celebrity Jeopardy.
The best Mad TV skits have to be anything with Kenny Rogers (the modern ones like Kenny Rogers' Jackass and Punk'd). The parody of R'Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" (Called "Trapped in the Cupboard") was also really good. The John Madden Skits are great as well.
Overall, It is hard to pick a fave skit from either one.

Haha, that skit was hilarious. I don't know if it's the funniest one ever but the very first Debbie Downer skit on SNL made me cry laughing because even the actors couldn't hold it in.
I think the ones with the coach on MadTV are hilarious also.

That's pretty good. My favorites on Mad TV are the skits wih Staurt. Can you imagine having to deal with him and his drunk mama?? I also love the sketch with Ice T and that old sunburnt chick with pool boy dancing around.
On SNL my favorite sketch is the Chris Farley / Patrick Swaze "Chippendales" tryouts. Farley had no shame taking off his shirt and trying to be sexy. I still don't know how the others in that sketch kept from laughing.

Daily Lives of High school Boys: A comedy masterpiece, enough said! Even though they also use some cliche jokes and sometimes try too hard to be funny. It's overall the funniest anime I ever watched. The Literature Girl is my favorite character :3 No romance though. Kaichou wa maid-sama: Best romance comedy anime ever! Bakemonogatari: The jokes need a little bit of high level of understanding, which is why they're awesome. They're not just your regular anime jokes. Romance is involved as well. Bakuman: Hiramura is just so hilarious! In this one, the second main story is romance. Clannad: As for those who watched it, I know that it's too sad, but you can't deny that you laughed out hard when watching some episodes. Tomoya's constant trolling of Sunohara is alone priceless. Steins;Gate: Also pretty dramatic like Clannad, but it starts off pretty funny and slow-paced. You gotta love the personality of this mad scientist (Okabe). ~El. Psy. Congroo. Beelzebub: I didn't watch it all. All I've seen of it is random clips on youtube, but they always manage to make me COLLMAO (cry out loud laughing my *** off). I plan to watch it soon. Gintama: Same as Beelzebub, haven't started watching it yet but I've seen a lot of priceless clips on youtube. I plan to watch it as soon as I get the chance too! Enjoy!

The best was the original cast.....and Dan Ackroyd did a spoof of Julia Child and cut himself and had fake blood sraying everywhere. It was a riot!
