Despite the fact that everything about the average MySpace profile has a shoddy presentation, bogs down computers and does more social harm than good (i.e., stalkers), most everyone still loves it.

A fact of nature is that teenagers are social animals. We love interaction. It's also a way to meet new people, or if you've just met someone in real life it's a way to get comfortable with them without any live comunication.

A MySpace user might say something on MySpace they never would in real life. MySpace acts as a sheild, or social mask, to prevent emberrasment and boost egos.

And it's free.

That's a stereotype. The "whole world" absolutely does not love MySpace. I think it's a dangerous website, in that too many naive people post waaayy too much personal information about themselves. There are a lot of dark souls cruising the information superhighway, and MySpace seems to be one of their favorite stops.

it's like an online hangout for friends and to meet new people. if you have myspace, then you will get addicted to it.

becuase you can talk to your friends but thats why we have phones so it's useless. if people have to hae 189 friends they dont know that very sad but thats life, talking to people to we will probably never meet
