What I mean...for example is if a hippo and a cow mated or any other 2 different species mammals...kinda like a black person and a white person is there any possibility of them having a mix child? And if its not possible...why not?

It is called hybridization ... where two unlikely species actually breed to have a mixed-species offspring.

Wholphin - whale and dolphin
Liger - Lion and tiger
Iron Age Boar - pig and boar
Mule - horse and donkey

While they are separate species, they do possess enough biological closeness (order or family level of biological classification) to allow for a third species to be born. Usually though, there are postzygomatic barriers which prevent these offspring from reproducing, establishing further genetic variations of the parents. This includes infertility, which is seen in mules and ligers. Normally, there are prezygomatic barriers such as temporal, habitat, mechanical, and chemical barriers which usually prevent hybridization from occurring, but nothing is ever completely certain in nature.

First black, white, caucasian, chinese, muslim, jew...all belong to one specie (humans)so they can mate.
But the idea of having two different species mating is really hard because of many factors like:
Two species breeding at different seasons or different times of day.
Geographical isolation: living in different areas.
they may not be sexually attracted
the penis and vagina are incompatible like a horse and a cat

Yet sometimes they could mate but the possibility of having an embryo is minimal because of the genetic incompatibility.
However if the species are very much related like a horse and a donkey they can have a baby mule but it will be sterile.

it depends, if both animals are of the same genus, then it MIGHT be possible, like the lion (PANTHERA leo) and the tiger (PANTHERA tigris). this would produce a liger or tigon.

or the donkey and horse, both part of the genus: eqqus. a horse and donkey mating would produce a mule or hinny (depending on the gender of each parent).

like a mule or hinny, hybrids are sometimes sterile, which would mean that a sterile hybrid could not produce young. ligers and tigons, however can reproduce with lions and tigers.

hippos and cows cannot mate because they only share the same order : artiodactyla, or even-toed undulates (hoofed animals, basically). they are too distantly related to produce viable offspring.

note:
blacks and whites are both homo sapiens (human). because they are of the same species, they can produce offspring. i understand what you were trying to say with this analogy, but it is innacurate and offensive, i would suggest wording it differently

White and black people are not separate species, to begin with.

It is possible in very closely related species - cats in particular. Most people have heard of Tigons and Ligers.

Also, a horse and donkey, to produce a mule.

However, sometimes, as in the mule, the offspring are sterile.

yes it is possible, but the likelyhood of it happening is very rare under natural circumstances.
no matter what race you are, you are still the same species as any other human, so you can breed and creat fertile offspring. in some instances animals from differant species can as well, but they have to be of the same family. ie horse and donkey or lion and tiger.
some species of tarantula are known to cross breed, and there are several types of fish that also do so on a regular basis.

well-only organisms within the same species can interbreed under NATURAL conditions and have FERTile offspring.ex if a horse and a donkey were to have offspring then it would be a mule-which is infertile.this is because organisms within the same species have a greater evoluntionary relationship hence their chromosones are MOre similar and a greater chance for fertilisation.

I believe part of the definition of "species" includes the limitation that two species cannot sucessfully interbreed. That means that their offspring (if they happen to exist) cannot, in turn, reproduce.

I know that there is many hybrids out there. Ones that I am most knowledgable about is the fin whale and the blue whale that were mated.
You have the wolphin which was the false killer whale and the bottlenose dolphin, which had mixed traits. it can be done.
