My brother told me yesterday if you put on the bluetooth all the time people can hack in you r mobile read your emails, is this true

Absolutely yes, it is called "Bluejacking" and as the name suggests, this effectively "hijacks" your phone. The Bluejacker can access your phone and read your messages, as you suggest, but they can go further than that.

They can use your Bluetooth connection to call a premium rate number, via your phone, which racks up enormous call charges for you. You have no idea this is happening as you can still use your phone as normal, making calls, sending texts, etc. The first thing you know about it is when your phone keeps running out of credit (PAYG) or you get a huge bill (prepay).

To defend against this, you should keep your Bluetooth connection switched off when you are not using it and only accept connections from people you know and trust.

it is not true .i always have my bluetooth on on my phone and no one hacked on to my phone

Not sure, but people have had viruses, so if a virus was designed to do that, I can't see why not.

yeah people can access all your files . be warned! you can protect files , though you will ahve to figure out how to do that on your own phone
