I used to have this problem years ago but don't get it anymore.
Firstly, make sure you are well lubricated before sex and as soon as possible after its over go to the loo for a pee. This way any bacteria which has been pushed into your uretha will be flushed out.
Secondly, when you get an attack, boil some water and steep a couple of lemons and a few handfulls of pearl barley. When it cools strain out the barley and lemon and drink, drink, drink. Cranbery juice is also very beneficial.
As you have been taking a lot of antibiotics I would also recommend a course of colonics together with taking a good quality probiotic supplement. Antibiotics destroy the good bacteria in your gut which in turn compromises your immune system making it harder to fight infection etc. Having colonics to flush out the bad bacteria and then replacing the good bacteria may help to bring your attacks to an end.
In addition, you could also try supplementing with garlic which is great for fighting infection and is also very beneficial for your blood. It would also be worth adding a high dose Vitamin C.

Homeopathic is the way togo. If you like the taste, drink cranberry juice regularly, daily that is, maybe at breakfast. Now this one works but depends on you if you fancy trying it, live yoghurt and I DON'T mean eating it. Spread it around the affected area, use a panty liner though and NOT a flavoured yoghurt. This soothes, especially straight from the fridge and the bacteria in the yoghurt conteracts the bacterial infection which is cystitis. By the way, if you get it after sex, it could be that your partner is a carrier without symptoms. He can be checked out at the GP and also go on the cranberry juice for breakfast routine though NOT the plain, live, yoghurt

Unfortunately, medically speaking there is no cure for IC (interstitial cystitis) there are treatment options though.
You should probably talk with a urinary specialist, or your primary care doctor about new treatment options. They now have medication specifically for IC.
Ther are also some home remedies, but those are do at your own risk type of deals. Ask your doctor about those treatments before you begin them to make sure that they won't cause you more harm than good.

You can drink loads of cranberry juice.
You could go to the heath foods stores, and get a probiotic to take orally.
Eat Yogurt with lots of cultures and live enzymes.
Drink a lot of water to keep the system flushed.
Make sure you urinate before & after sex!
I have had a hysterectomy and I use premarin cream. You may not have enough estrogen in your vagina. You might ask the GYN or your urologist to prescribe you some just ro rub over the ureathera, if you have not had a hysterectomy you wouldnt want to use it vaginally. My urologist told me that trick and it has helped me more than anything.
Talk to your urologist & GYN

cranberry juice is supposed to help, tastes awful though.
ive also heard something about youghurt, can't remember what it was though lol.
As your GP for something stronger, I get it at least once a year (Im diabetic) and the Canestan Once stuff doesn't work for me. My GP gives me stuff that does the trick but sorry I can't remember the name of it as i've not had it in a while. You should talk to your doctor and tell him that your tabs aren't working very well. Drink plenty of water too.

Lots of cranberry juice, and make sure you go for a wee before you have sex. (pressure on a full bladder can cause a flare up of cystitis)
