i have about 250, 4x8 ft. windows to clean and lime away,and other household solutions are not a practicle

I worked in a 30 plus story building where they used an electral powered buffer like you would use to buff a car. It is relatively fast, but absolutely has to scratch the glass, eventually. Also, any dirt on the glass when you buff it will grind in the particles and scratch even more.

I am sure the pros have products that you will not find at Wal-Mart. I worked nights at a meat packing company doing clean up. We had a product called 409, it was a powder and came in 55 gallon drums. This stuff cleaned anything. Anyway what I am getting at iis that you will need to go to a place that sells procucts to professionals.
