BVM, First, don't think that what you have is actually a mental disorder but rather a moral problem. Scientists just have to give every problem there is some name. OCD and Asperger dear, will not be cured by some pills or a visit to the doctors or a visit to some psychologist/psychiatrist/counselor. Don't waste our money on them! It is absolutely not your fault, I mean you even tried fighting back. Don't be convinced that because you were inappropriately touched then you HAVE to act like the victim. You have your own life sweety and nobody, not even some depraved bastarded scumbag who touches innocent girls is going to take it away from you. You seem pretty convinced that no matter what you say, everybody is going to think your an attention seeking child. There will undoubtedly be some people, maybe including among your family members, who will not believe you but don't let that let you down. Just because some friends or adults don't believe you doesn't mean that your wrong or that your an attention seeking child. What is important is what you think and what YOU YOURSELF KNOW has happened. Do you think though that your father and mother will not believe their own daughter when she tells them that she was inappropriately touched by this relative? In fact, who is he dear? You need to remove this scrupliosity. You need to make your own decisions. Do not let what supposed problems by doing this or that may bring you. Many people who are scrupulous think that even the smallest thing they do may affect their future or what is going to happen during the day. For example, I used to be extremely scrupulous. I used to touch switches and walls for no reason other than to 'remove the badness inside them'... I would make the sign of the cross when hearing the letter B... I didn't do certain activities because I thought that by not doing them I would profit something. All this was only stupid superstition. Superstitions are beliefs which have no basis or reason to support their claims. Breaking a mirror does not mean that you will have bad luck for seven years because there is utterly NO basis of belief in reason. How the hell can a mirror bring bad luck. Also, the belief that if a girl who is telling people that she wa smolested means that she is some freak trying to catch attention is a superstition. You are being honest dear, some people may not belive you but who cares for what they think? Even if your parents don't believe you, heck sweety, tell somebody else and report that bastard to the police. I am a seventeen year old boy yet what I'm and many others here are saying is for your own good. If you want to truly truimp over this ordeal in your life and rise above the things which have brought you these problems, then tell your family. Not meaning to offend you but, unless they are horrible people and are horrible to you, I doubt they will not believe. And when I say horrible, I'm not saying the occasional punishment or rebuke because ou did some fault. We all do faults! :-) One last note: Your 'conscience' may tell you that once you finish reading this, there will be a disaster because you did not go to a counseler and listened to the advice of simple-minded nitwit. That is not your conscience, as the conscience doesn't consist of some guardian angel or devil telling you what to do. Those things are merely symbolic in cartoons. The conscience consists in the mind. The mind tells you to choose between good and bad, and good and bad does not consist in some cosmological rubbish. Believe me, and the Catholic Church never thaught anything about cosmology and astronomy at all. Don't think about suicide, becaus then you'd sort of lose. Truimph over things by your will to do good. I will pray for you. May Mary bless you!

It wouldn't bother me in the least. I always say things like that add character to a person. Little things like that make a person more real to me. It means he has had something happen to him, life experience, or at least an interesting story.
I truly wouldnt worry about it. There is no reason a scar, especially that small would be a turn off. But if you obsess about it, it will make you more self conscious which might be a turn off to some.

No one is perfect. Every one has a characteristic that they are nervous about. A mole, a scar, a birthmark, etc. It's part of who you are. No one worth anything should care that you have a small scar on your jawline. If they do, they're not worth your time. Concentrate on your sports and meeting friends and just having a good time instead!
p.s. If you ask girls about the scar, you are drawing attention to it and your insecurities. Girls like guys who are confident! Good luck.

No way! If any girl is so shallow as to be not look beyond the scar, you don't want her anyway. My husband has a scar on his temple and most of the time I never see it. It's a part of him and doesn't bother me one bit.

Of course not. In my opinion the scar is just no big deal; it would not affect me in any way positive or negative. Some women think its sexy, like a tough guy type of thing you know? You definitely have nothing to be concerned about!!

Scars show that you've lived life. Won't lie to you, some girls are shallow and won't give you a second look because of it. However, I can personally say that I would get to know you and not judge you one your physical appearence.

Please forget about your scar! People, even in high school, respond to confidence and attitude. YOU are not your scar. The scar will fade. Don't let yourself fade - outshine the physical.
