The whole thing really only gets going in the final third. And it is oddly moving as the key George Harrison songs are all here. On initial hearing it does kind of make you want to go to the actual show. Kind of. The Lady Madonna/Hey Bulldog mix up is great but in the end as a THING it all seems rather pointless. All you need to do is take a look at the cover [and it is **** ] to find out how you really feel about it. It is in the end a tester to see how popular the Beatles are for the inevitable onslaught of the newly remastered repackaged albums. Beatles albums have never been cheap. Epstein made sure of that in the contract. So it will be fork out time again. As indeed Love is. But then we love them. Don't we?

Love will simply be deleted in two years time so quietly we will not even notice.

I'd give it a stonking good 8.5. Being a rather big Beatles fan, and also a Music boffin with oodles of letters hanging on after my name, I'd say it ticks most boxes. It's not a 9.5 as there are one or two songs I'd have loved to have made a full appearence ... and the other 0.5 is due to the fact that to most Beatles fans, they were perfect before hand, and didn't need a thing doing to them ...

The journey it takes you on though, well it's something else ... I wonder how you rate it? Have you heard George MArtin's In My Life album? It's got the likes of Robin Williams doing covers of Come Together and so on ... Definitely worth a listen, my friend ...

Hi, and happy new year.
I have a cd copy playing now, and would give it 9/10.
A Christmas present, as being a bit of a Beatles fan, I appreciate the veriation of their talents. Bless them.
The government should issue a copy to all, to enlighten us.
Perhaps. I am the eggman, coo coo ka choo.
All the best of Beatles,
Bob.

It was about a 7. I liked how they mixed songs up and sometimes changed key signatures for better blending. It was a nice refresher from the same old Beatles. I've heard from a person who doesn't like live shows that it was amazing. I wish I could go see it.

To me, the Beatles died in the early 70's. I know there are still 2 left, but can you really call them "The Beatles" still? They should stay solo artists now. The Beatles will never be happening again.
