I know this sounds really pathetic but I'm going to ask anyway. My husband and I have been having marital problems and my mom suggested I go through his car to find any "information" to reaffirm my suspisions. I found four Trojan condoms (unused) in a bank deposit bag. The problem is I have had my tubes tied last year so WE would not be using condoms together. When I threw the condoms at him, he looked really guilty but insists that yes he bought the condoms when we got into a fight a while back but that he never has used them. However, aren't there 12 condoms to a package???? There are only four left!!! My husband is not real good in the honesty department and lately he has been not so nice to me. My question is: Is there any way he could NOT be having an affair???

He's cheating, and he's not going to stop. He's gotten away with it for so long that he's now addicted to it. Dump him.

Ouch girl.
Be direct ask him where the rest of the condoms went. But to be honest who cares.
Just the fact that he went out and bought them after a fight that you had shows he had the intention of cheating on you. If the thought crossed his mind then, even if he has not cheated yet Im sorry but he will.
Theres really no solid proff that he has done anything, but with the information given I would strongly think that yes he has been unfaithfull to you.
If you are searching his car then you do have a strong trust issue and a relationship without trust is doomed anyway. Im not saying this can not be repaired but its a long road to fix once the line has been crossed like this.

I see a lot of the "MEN ARE PIGS" Oprah type reponses. What gender of person do you think he's cheating with? Wonder why women aren't PIGS??? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
By the way, have you ever turned him down for sex when "you have a headache" or were "too tired". That's your form of cheating, yeah you don't waste condoms when you "have a headache" but someone isn't getting laid the same as if he's out with another woman.
When you divorce him, you'll get the house, so for the few times you laid him, you'll be well compensated. If you don't have an education a free one will be provided for you through most community college systems. In most states you'll get child support and alimony, so you can have a live in boyfriend so he'll have to keep paying. I think MEN ARE STUPID for getting married. It's a contract totally stacked against them.
A woman cheats and gets a divorce, she still gets HALF of everything, and then goes on the Oprah show to say what an insensative a$$hole her ex was. Gotta love the double standards in America.

Could be, and yet again , there is a small chance that he might not me. YOU had better have a trial separation first. Then , after a few months , see what has gone down over that time period, and if he still loves you and you love him get together with him at a pre -rranged private place away from his home and your s but close to people that dont necessarily know you. ANd have yourselves a very serious down to earth talk about your future together.

sounds like he is. the first warning flag is that he said he bought them when you were having a fight. Just because you are going through problems in a marriage does not mean it gives you a green light to go fool around. It means you have some issues to deal with. If they can't be resolved then it is time to move on. You have to decide what you are willilng to put up with. If you think he is having an affair then he probably is. try to talk to him. if he won't talk then take it to the next level. If he is not honest anyway....you deserve someone who is in the marriage with you. Sounds like he runs from his problems. You ultimately have the final vote. Honey, you deserve to be happy, don't put up with a bunch of crap

Yeah you have a problem because you and him do not use condoms. He probably has bad intentions at the very least. But if he were having a full blown affair, his girlfriend would keep the condoms. Trust me. I know.

There's 12 in the big packages, smaller boxes have fewer.
Nerds like me don't need as many, you see.
It's possible that he's being honest.
You could always go to a drug store and see if that brand comes in packs of four, or look online at the company's website. Heck, I bet if you wrote to the company and asked "do you sell this kind in packs of four?" someone would send you a nice letter in reply.
I bet hub would cringe, too.

Added info: While at the drug store today, I thought of you and went straight to the condom aisle (Um, that sounds dirty from a stranger but work with me). Turns out that most brands are sold in multiples of three, but one kind of Durex includes an extra fourth.
It IS possible that he's truthful.

Wow. Condoms do NOT disappear on their own. Sounds like that was a VERY incomplete conversation you had with him about finding them. You need to confront him about noticing that condoms "may have" been missing from the package and what he has to say about it. That would be a hard one to lie about. They only have ONE purpose so he'd be hard pressed for an excuse. You need to finish that conversation with him, right away.

It sounds like he might be having an affair. When you had your tubes tied maybe he thought that you couldn't do anything. sometimes when a woman has her tubes tied is so she can go with other men & not get pregnant .Are you cheating on him? It will come out in the open with the one that is cheating.

I would say he is busted. Before you throw divorce papers at him, you should try councling to see if he is willing to come clean and put a stop to his actions. If he is unwilling then you should leave before you catch a STD or he gets someone else pregnant. He has already used alot of condoms and who's to say that is the 1st box. It could be the 10th. You 2 have alot of talking to do and decisions to make.

Condoms in a bank bag are not enough to convict but enough to launch an investigation. Hire someone to find out the truth.
