The more ashamed you feel about it the more you are going to want to do it any time anywhere. Your christian faith is enough to lay a heavy guilt on your shoulders especially because of your masturbation. Just realize that this is something you enjoy and it makes you feel good rather that it is something to feel ashamed of. I am catholic and believe me I know of the shame you feel, but I came to terms with it by realizing that I am human and sometimes crave human needs. If you are doing it in the privacy of your home and you are Not hurting anyone when you are doing it then it is ok...you just need to make peace with it and you will see that the frequency you use to do it, will gradually diminish...not completely however. Masturbation should be something private between you and your hands and no one else.

Listen, everyone masturbates. Seriously studies have shown that by age 15 almost 90% of all dudes have jacked it at least once.
HOWEVER, if you really think it violates your faith and you want to stop there are a couple things you can do.
First, just try your hardest not to think about it. If you find yourself needing to masturbate, go do something else. Go running, or weight lift or play a sport or even watch TV, read a book basically ANYTHING non-sexual. Keep yourself distracted. Pick up new hobbies, etc...
Second, keep this up for about a week or so. Once your body gets past a certain initial period (provided you're out of puberty) your hormone level should decrease and you should become less constantly aroused.
Third, if none of these work you can consider a variety of "chastity" devices out on the market which physically prevent you from touching your penis (they quite literally lock your penis away in some sort of plastic cage, etc...).
Fourth, keep a towel under yourself when you sleep. In all likelihood, not masturbating is eventually going to lead you to have wet dreams (your body is producing sperm constantly, sooner or later they have to escape).
Fifth, if you're really concerned about it in regards to your faith, talk to your pastor. He can probably provide you with necessary guidance from a spiritual standpoint. Afterall, they have to deal with these "urges" too.

This can become an addiction. I know that you must feel very guilty afterwords. If you find yourself with the craving to do this pray.Get up out of bed and start to read or do soomething that will get your mind off of it.. What people don't understand is it's the thoughts that go through a persons mind that make it masturbating wrong. You are guilty of doing what ever you are thinking of doing when you masturbate. Ask the Lord to help you. Tell him that you really don't want to do this and you need his help. I am a strong believer in telling the Devil "No! I wont do this!" The Lord will help you.

YOu need to spend a little more time studying your scripture. It is not a sin to masturbate. Masturbation is not mentioned in either the old or new testament. There is no need to stop it is good for you and your reproductive system. It helps to control your sexual anxiety , it relieves stress, and it feels good. It is the safest sex you can find and there are no bad side affects. It is not a sin your christian leaders are lying to you. It is a form of sex and like all sex should be kept personal and private.

you will desire to turn this into an exceedingly efficient on line employer. basically get a information superhighway cam, throw up an internet site, and supply a stay feed of you masturbating everywhere, for a month-to-month cost. i'm specific you would be wanting lots of shoppers very immediately! ok - kidding aside. in case you bypass overboard, you ought to expend your physique after which you would be dealing with fatigue and skill diet and mineral deficiency. try giving your self a sensible, plausible purpose, like say three times an afternoon to start. Then, once you're tempted, try substituting yet another interest. I recommend uncomplicated meditation. the rationalization is, the habit of meditating (to boot being a sturdy replace for masturbation) will improve your recommendations's potential to concentration on what you opt to - it somewhat is going to enhance your will ability, that can assist you triumph over the habit. on the non secular ingredient: don't experience accountable. It doens't assist you in any way, and easily wastes your potential. The bible became written not basically for religious perception, yet as a code of social habit that became reflective of it somewhat is cases. there have been useful rationalization why society didn't want human beings lusting over each and each others different halves, yet I distinctly doubt that Jesus, God, or any larger ability that a individual believes in, could somewhat be offended on the organic and organic tactics of human beings. like the different poster mentioned, we are under pressure to act on sexual impulses, to added the species. No reason to chastize your self for being created in that way. That mentioned, masturbation can replace into addictive, and that's not sturdy. ultimate of luck!

Strange, because if you had a strong Christian faith actually, then you neither had to start masturbating.
Evidently your belief isn't so strong as you were affirming, so, since for the most part of people masturbation isn't a sin and it even is healthy for your sexuality, go on with no remorse now.
Anyway, it only is a mental fact!

Your real problem isn't the fact that you want to masterbate. Your problem is the guilt you feel about it. Lot's of Christians don't believe masterbation to be sinful and I can guarantee you that lot's of Christians masterbate themselves. I would go so far as to say I think most people do so on a regular basis. Stop obsessing. Eventually the urge slows and/or stops with age.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't it just the Catholics who are against masturbation? Anyway, if you do want to stop, just try to distract yourself. Go do something else. Something in public where you can't masturbate without ending up in a cell. Movies are good.

Stop feeling guilty. Masturbation is natural and healthy and everyone I know (male and female) do it to varying degrees. Men's sexual peak is in their early teens and this drives them to masturbate many times a day. Also remember that men on average think about sex every few minutes. It is nothing to feel guilty about, enjoy.
