Many people tell me I should submit some of my stories - fiction, as well as non-fiction, to magazines and newspapers. I've jumped on the web, but I'm not sure which are credible and I'm not sure if I should write first and submit or vice versa. I'd love to get some input from people who are experienced in this area.

Get a publication called "Writers Digest" at Amazon or local bookstore. It is stock full of purlications looking for articles and stories. It is expensive about $30-$35 but the only way to go. You get each one listed with what type they are looking for and how to submit your work.

I have done it, you can too.

Hi, Happy New Year! Okay, that is what I did, write it in double space, the story first at least 180 pages, then submit it to a publisher. You can email me if you want more info. I just finish my 2nd novel and will submit anytime. My 1st is already on the market. I can help you what to do if you want. Itsme5326@yahoo.com that's my personal email. Good luck!
