To be honest wih you, if you are on a course that you really want to be on, you should not be bored even if you are not in the mood. The course that you are doing should be something that you enjoy and should enjoy doing. Perhaps there is something in your life that is stopping you from learning and that is why you are not in the mood or perhaps you are doing the wrong course. You lost your curiosity. Possibly you reached the point that now you think you know everything and don't need to learn more. This could be a reaction to high grades that gave you a sense of superiority and you ended up losing your curiosity for new knowledge and insights to whatever you are studying. Believe me, no one knows it all. There's always something new and interesting to learn. You just have to be curious.

You need to be inspired. What do you want to do when you graduate? If you don't know. What kind of life do you want to have? What kind of house do you want to live in. What kind of car do you want to drive. Do you want to be home on weekends to spend time with your sig other and kids? Do you want vacations? Look for jobs on monster.com or other sites that would give you the life you want. Then choose a degree program that that job requires. Take pictures of the things you want and some of what you would have if you fail. Put both in your note books.

oh, and don't just look at entry level jobs. Look at the ones you might get 5 or 10 years after you graduate too.

I was in the same rut and I took the semester off. I worked full time, and "recharged my batteries". It was a life saver. After that I re enrolled in school and was ready to learn again. Good Luck

Pick a subject you really love. Try to think of the things you already know. And things you don't know. But need to know to fully know all there is to know about the subject. AND GO LEARN!
