Try holding down the option key when booting up. This will work sometimes. If not,you will have to boot from a system disk cd or other repair cd .

The Flashing Question Mark on a system folder (System 9) Denotes the Mac cannot find a valid system folder to start from - It has become corrupt or your hard disk is Knakered - try putting in the System Disk that came with the Mac and restart whilst keeping the "C" Key pressed this starts the mac from the CD

Once you have it started - Somewhere on the CD You will find a folder called utilities - inside their you will find a program called Disk first aid. run this program and choose to repair the disk

This might help, otherwise you will have to re-install OS 9 Again
