I don't think so. Just my opinion though. If you get married after you have met at work, sometimes that is ok...but I once interviewed with a company who would insist that one person resign if they got married while they were both working there.

Most are ok with it though. However, I have always been under the impression that most companies prefer not to hire married people - although many can work together professionally, there may be too much chance of time spent on non-work things or too much socialization.

Yes. Marriage entails financial responsibility and therefore a married man will, by necessity, take his job more seriously.
