Firefox is much better than IE7:
1. The tabs load much faster than IE7.
2. When you search for a word in a webpage, firefox searches for it while you type the word in, so it is faster at finding words.
3. If you don't like the look of firefox, you can easily change the colour scheme & the appearance of the icons to what you like.
4. Firefox have a huge range of extensions for you to choose from. Like a download manager etc.
5. Firefox is not prone to errors that need you to restart your browser & lose any work you were doing like IE7.
6. Firefox is open-source. This means that when there is a problem with the Firefox browser, they can fix it VERY quickly, whereas IE would have to create an automatic update or a whole new version to fix its problems.
Overall I find Firefox is the better browser, by far.

Well you see I think with Firefox it loads up the page and things one by one when with IE7 it delays till fully loaded I think.
You can get an extension for Fireox which will optimize websites and there is a time counter that will be displayed in the right hand corner. :) Overall I think firefox.

A good clean installation of IE is just as fast if not faster than firefox! People tend to believe that firefox is better due to the fact that they (by there own fault) have Explorer so infested with malware due to their ignorance in downloading every free (LOL!) piece of freeware they see thinking their virus protection will save them. Freeware and p2p sites are so infested it aint funny! In time, just as any other browser they use, firefox will be just as infested!

For me IE loads faster but once loaded seems to bring pages up a lot slower. Firefox on the other hand takes ages to start up in comparison but seems to then run a lot faster once started.

For me, Firefox works about 10 times faster. I have no idea why, but I PROMISE. But then again maybe that's just me.

If I were you I stay with Fire fox much better because I downloaded Explorer 7 four times on computer. It slowed it down and cause problems. It would be better to wait until it been out a while before installing it. It does have some good things about it but it not ready.

FireFox is faster for the most part, unless your computer doesn't support it to the fullest extent. You have to adjust some settings to see a difference, though.

Firefox is faster, although it cause problems with the listening ports for limewire, such as 2247 2281, so if u wish to d/l then that could be a prob!
