Best memories from Mombasa, Kenya. The beaches were awesome although I had to be on quinine tablets to prevent malaria.

I'm from Canada, eh?
Canada, USA, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Belgium.
For the most beautiful preserved old culture, visit Italy - especially Venice, but also Florence and various areas of Tuscany.
For scenery - the Isle of Capri, Ayers Rock and the Olgas, or try Milford Sound cruise or hike a glacier (Franz Josef) on the South Island of New Zealand.
For a lively city - New York wins hands down, followed by Paris and Amsterdam.

England, Wales, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Canada, USA.
Impossible to say which is best. New York is the most exciting place I've ever visited. Cyprus the hottest. Paris the most beautiful city. Spain is the most laidback, chilled-out and warm place (not the beach resorts, but places like Granada and little towns up in the mountains). But the best place on earth for me is the West Country - Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. People who live there are SO lucky!

At the last count i had stepped foot in 29 countries , and been through the numerous others territories (but i only count those i have shopped, eaten or 'partied' in)
Surprisingly Vietnam was good, Saigon is exactly what it looks like in the war movies only without the nastiness! [excluding the square mile where the new business district is!]. They also love us brits(and other europeans except the french)! - i was told that this was because we are like the Americans but are not Americans! it seems some things never change!
Didnt think much of the seychelles tho! unless you live on the beach there is nothing much to do. ( but great food)

I'm a brit and have traveled all around Europe, but I have to say my absolute favorite was not here, but the USA. America is SO diverse and beautiful. I loved the mountains that covered half of the country, but the rolling plains and prairies were equally beautiful. In fact the northeast part reminded me a whole lot of the landscape you see in Ireland. Just a hint for future travelers: When an American comes and tries to talk to you about baseball, do NOT tell them it's just like cricket. Hehe believe me you're in for a nice good long speech( in their good humoured accents) on how it's completely different

Italy was by far my favorite country, especially Florence. Walking through the streets of Italy was like taking a trip back in time. There were small alleyways, crumbled brickish streets, old buildings, Dante glaring down at Florence, and the Colosseum. What more could one ask for?

The one I like the best is the United States...(specially New York City)... but in general, you can find everything in the US... Casinos in Las Vegas, beautiful beaches if Florida or California, Disneyworld, Disneyland, deserts, mountains, valleys...
In NY, there are people from many different cultures, also all type of restaurants, shops, museums all in one single place....

My favourite would have to be Australia, even though there are always good things to be said for every country. Down Under really is a melting pot of so many cultures, as well as having its own unique Aboriginal culture. There's so much to see and its completely different up north in Queensland to down south in Tasmania!!
