No. I like the movie Rent. Good music good cast. Some of the subject matter is a little alternative, but it is still a good movie.

Hello Cassidy!! Not at all!!Why weird?? It is a free world and we got the rights to choose what we like and don´t like.. For example I am a guy and I liked musicals like Moulin Rouge, Step Up, Save the Last Dance, The Phantom of the Opera and Dirty Dancing. And I don´t give a damn on what people think about me liking those movies...so don´t worry and don´t feel a freak dear Cassidy!! Defend what you like and don´t let anybody tell you you´re a freak to like things others may not. Happy 2007!!

If you can make it through that 'clutter' they call the plot and still make enough sense out of this movie to enjoy it, then I say YOU GO GIRL! Maybe if I watched it more I would 'get it' but after that first time, my head still hurts...lol I love singing. I'm single. My rent's due on the 3rd of every month. Oh, and I used to be gay too. But, I just didn't get it :-( I'm glad you did though....

NO WAY. I love that movie it's sad, romantic, and has a great story. If you like RENT don't be scared to tell people about it and if they think you are weird then maybe they are not your friends.

no!! it is such an amazing movie with great songs and an amazing plot. you should check out the broadway soundtrack as well, there are a lot more songs that weren't included in the movie!

You might even say people who have seen it have some level of class. I mean, their will always be movies that don't nail it to the mainstream, but this isn't one of them.
