Not being able to see your eye it's difficult to make a proper diagnosis.
The trouble with sharing make-up is that the bacteria that one person's body can tolerate, may be very irritating to someone else. Also, over time bacteria from our bodies can multiple on our own make-up, and re-infect us at a later date. This is why we should discard and replace most make-up every 3 to 6 months, especially mascara and eyeliner, as our eyes are the most susceptible to irritation, and infection.
It might be best to call your doctor tomorrow and have this checked out.

Do not let other people use your makeup!! You could get all sorts of bacterial infection and that's not cool. I get styes and that might be what you have, but I usually only get them when I have cold or allergy problems. Please quit sharing makeup....

I don't know.
But you shouldn't share make up especially mascara.
Apparantly there are bugs that live on some peoples eyelashes and can be passed on if you share eye make up.

Could be, but it is actually unlikely. Sharing your makeup with someone unhygienic wouldn't be the most constructive decision, but with your sister or someone. It really doesn't hurt. Not sharing is just a good precaution to follow.

Oh dear do tell ~ we have the same face ~ are you my long lost twin sister. If so, we should never let anyone or use anyone's make-up for that matter. Would you borrow someone else's shoes?

Using powder, blush, coverup is fine. you should never use someone elses eye makeup or let them use yours. Especially mascara and eyeliner, shadow not so much. You could get not only stys in the eye but pink eye as well
