Sorry, but you are kinda vague. If the system is shutting down, or restarting, or the dreaded BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) then your system obviously doesnt have all it needs or there is something you have that is conflicting with your present system. IF, however, you are talking about your internet connection dropping, then it could be a number of things; too many possibilities there to list also. Sorry....

i agree sounds like a weak power supply, particularly if you have an oem type system, the powersupply is typically just enough for the computer itself,but not all the extra gadgets you may have.its also possible though rare for a crack in the motherboard,or a bad memory module (if theres a crack you wont be able to see it with the naked eye, youll have to change the powersupply,memory etc first,and if the problem persists it can be the motherboard)

the power supply is bad i had the same problem people kept on telling me the computer was overheating but i knew that wasn't right for you most likely it is a bad power supply because the components in your computer use more power buy ur power supply has low watts or maybe the computer is overheating, PLease add addtitional details of the watt of your powersupply. THen i can help u more

Could be heat, could be a dirty or non working fan, could be that you have added new hardware and the power supply is no longer big enuff!
