It will play game boy games-it will not notice if I put in a DS card.

ok this is gonna sound tricky, but just di it, get a piece of wire and scrape off the connectors on the inside of the ds, theres probably something there that its not reading, so scrape off the dirt/dust

Buy a can of spray air from Walmart - the type your clean out a computer with. Use that to spray out the DS game slot. It probably got some dust in it!

take a cloth or something and wipe the game and the slot. If that dosent work take it back to where you got it. or just trade it at game crazy

I think it's toast, but you can trade it in at game stop and they'll give you a few bucks for it and them you can buy one there cheap, the have used stuff, but I've always been happy!!!
