OUCH!!!! I know its my fault I asked the question.....OK ok lesson lerned!!!! I love green day and wanted to know y other people dont but OUCH it really hurts. The ones where you guys say that billie is a bad singer. Well i wont do this again!!!!!!
PS hu ever said that about bullet in a bible: 1. Only fans were there 2. Billie Joe TOLD them to sing along 3. If u dont like green day y do u have the album 4. What do u have against europeans and 5. this is for everyone: I want you 2 IM me if u like green day!!!!!!!

Yeah I like some of their old stuff but if you listen to American Idiot all the songs sound the same. Not to mention how that was all music stations would play for months and months... got on my nerves big time.

I personally like Green Day, but I know a good many people who don't, mainly because their music is highly political and these people don't agree with it. Green Day is pretty much against everything the government has been doing, and thus, anyone who agrees with the government probably disagrees with Green Day. "American Idiot" hits directly on Bush, and American people in general. "Wake Me Up When September Ends" mentions a loss of innocence, which could easily be applied to society as a whole. Many of the lyrics are political or opinionated, and thus not necessarily agreeable.

They say they're punk but their not. They released 2 punk rock albums and then, starting with Dookie they put in pop hooks so they would get more success. Johny Rotten, the former frontman of the Sex Pistols, doesn't think they're punks either. And I think American Idiot is anti-american. On Bullet in a Bible Europeans are singing along to American Idiot. Plus, they've started wearing black clothes, black eyeliner, and black nail polish and dyeing their hair black.

I don't like them because they are annoying and they took the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Honai Rocks and made it depressing when it was originally was a very happy song and they probably did not know what the song was about. It was talking about Sunset Boulevard and how some bands that wanted to be famous but did not find fame. Green Day sucks!!

I like Green Day.
Sometimes though I'm not in the mood for their music because I think the singer sounds like he's singing with a stuffy nose.

green day rocks, there not my style but i appreciate, if theres one person in the world i cant stand it Elvis, how i appreciate Elvis, becuz he brought something new to the table, i appreciate green day cuz even though they might not be in someone Else's stupid "I'm a hardcore punk rocker idiot who thinks that music has 2 do with politics", maybe they appeal to someone Else's taste which matters allot to them. I'm so sick of stupid answers like, GREEN DAY IS FAG!!!!!! KILL ALL CHRISTIANS, WE ARE THE PUNK, #%@$% #%@$ its like wow that really shows intelligence u can use 4 letter words....EMOS SUCK I HATE EMOS CUZ THERE ALL GAY, wow that's original i bet the last mxpx fan wrote the exact same thing. i say appreciate what people have done as musicians not wut style they play or how they dress, or who listens 2 them...

i love green day and my bedroom is devoted to them. but i think american idiot ruined them and now they arent good anymore. everyone is always like "omg i love american idiot" and then i just walk away. i hate it when people only like a band because their popular. it bugs the crap out of me. some people think pretending to like green day will make me want to be friends with them but then i ask them to name 10 of their songs and they cant.

I used to like them, but now they're pretty much sellouts. If you think you're punk, and you label yourself that way, then you're not. They're pretty much pop rock now. The whole American Idiot rock opera thing was a little much. The story wasn't that good. If you want real punk, try The Misfits or Dead Kennedys.

I don't like Green Day
Because I never hear them.
No one in my family listens to them, they're never played on any of the radio stations I listen to, and none of my friends ever listen to them.
I'm sure if I actually heard them, I might like them, because I know they are quite popular.
