Oh man!! No question!!

Every September I travel to West Virginia and camp near the New River Gorge! It is gorgeous. I mean........ just gorgeous. This river is even older than the Nile. So imagine the biggest boulders you've ever ever seen...... surrounding this rushing river with rapids flowing over the rocks. You look up and see mountains on either side of you as you paddle down the river. We hike to the top of the gorge and look down on the river amazed at the sight below us. Without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful spots in our country. I'm kind of glad that most of the population hasn't discovered this spot yet.... because there is just something "untouched" about this area. It truly is magic. :)

My most favorite place to go camping would be in Cary Illinois, at Camp Algonquin, because it's like a home away from home. except without all the cell phones and mordern technology that we use everyday. It's situated right on a lake and it's just gorgeous there. Check it out sometime, you'll love it.

My renowned places to camp is in Coos Bay (sunset bay state park), Reedsport (umpqua lighthouse state park), and Florence (honeyman state park). All 3 parks might have campgrounds that have tent web content, rv web content, and cabins or yurts. All 3 are on the coast and close to sand dunes and maximum each and all of the state parks settle for canines offering they're on a leash. Honeyman state park is the main important of the three that are listed and the main busiest. I extremely have alway long gone to sunset Bay or Umpqua lighthouse state parks because of the fact they are somewhat smaller, quieter, and extra previous formed yet nevertheless interior of a short distance to activities. wish this facilitates.

The back country, places where you can only get by hiring a float plane. Places where no human feet have touched in thousands of years, mountain woodland next crystal clear glacier lakes 300 to 400 miles in the middle of nowhere.
