Why do men always watch sports on TV no matter what sport, what game or what time of the year it is? It bothers me so much that my dear hubby is ATTACHED to his remote on weekends. It can be the most boring sport on and he'll still stare in to the screen all day. Any ideas how to stop it?

I'm sure it drives you nuts, but there are a lot of other/worse things he could be obsessed with. It's his way of recharging, decompressing etc. If he's doing it to the point that he's neglecting you, kids, family well then you need to set some boundaries, but be fair. Don't ask him to give it up just for the principle of it, be sure that you have a good reason, and make sure that when he does it's for something fun, at least every once in a while make sure it's fun. Believe me, there are way worse things he could be doing.

I couldn't deal with it either, I think it is childish in a way to pay more attention to a TV than your family. I married someone who does not like to watch sports at all and I chose well. Try taking your husband out sometimes when a game is on and do something really great so he really won't miss watching that game.

based on three women and adult adult males human beings, i do no longer evaluate the seize 22 situation is that adult adult males, probable, are frightened of competing with/dropping to females human beings. in my opinion, it is on the full a count of male our bodies tending to have extra suitable muscle mass than females (as quickly as we are speaking approximately bodily extensive exercises). some thing equivalent is the distinction between weight training in boxing - so it relatively is a honest in good condition. although, i'm thinking if it would nevertheless be a useful healthful if a 126lb male have been boxing a 126lb female? probable there's a organic and organic or in the different case function ideas-set to evaluate that to be a honest in shape? There relatively isn't a merely suitable argument in opposition to adult adult males competing with women human beings in wearing activities resembling golfing, archery, etc. we would run into differing comments labeling what activities does no longer be a merely suitable theory...probable tennis, for representation? All in all, I thoroughly help threat - if a woman needs to play soccer, she might desire to be ready to take a seem at-out like each and all of us else. it relatively is a conscious determination. She knows what she's stepping into, so if she finally ends up being overwhelmed to parts on the self-discipline, so be it. Yay the u . s . a .! in spite of the undeniable fact that extremely, i'm fascinated in that. i'm a 23 y/o woman, if everybody cares.

It is like us with shopping. There is nothing you can do. My husband is at his friends house 3x a week watching sports, in fact, he is there right now, on New Years Day, so my daughter and I are going to the park without him.
It is their #1 priority, comes before sex, family, and even food. I hate it too!

Thats just what men do. We watch sports. BUt if you tried to do him a sexual favor...he may stop for that time being ,but otherwise why would he want to stop. Depending on what game he is watchign the sex may not even help. If i was watching the final four a big bowl game, i would tell her to leave me along and let me watch the game.

There's ways to stop it. Use your imagination. Victoria's Secret can do wonders.
