Well I guess it depends on the size of fish. If they just hatched live brine shrimp is the way to go. If it's more than 3 weeks old it can eat normal fish flakes. If you bought the fish it's more than 3 weeks old. If it's reall small , and you flakes are big roll them in your finger. Remember don't over feed. If after a minute or there is still food in the tank you fed to much.

If its really tiny(1/4 " to 1/2 ") newly hatched brine shrimp will get it growing,as it gets larger crushed up flake food, micro worms(if you can find a source) frozen brine shrimp(baby) just a whole lot of choices. PeeTee

you should go to your local pet store and ask an associate there.they will probably be able to eat tropical fish flakes.since it's a baby, there may be a food that your young angelfish can eat easily.

Tropical flakes, but when they get big its cool to watch them eat frozen krill. they appreciate it as well.
