It's time to replace my cell phone. Which do you prefer - a flip phone or a slide phone? Why?

i really like the slide phones but i feel like the screen would get scratched a lot more than a flip phone so i'd stick with flip.

I have a slide (Nokia N80). I prefer the slide because it's more comfortable. With a flip it's hard to answer a call because u always need to flip the screen. This applies to sms messages also. I find the flip phone to be uncomfortable. While the slide has the keys hidden, it's easy to operate the menu, answer calls, etc. This is my opinion. I have seen that the flip phone is fashionable with girls these days, anyway I choose my phone according to my personal needs not for fashion so it's your choice! :)
Forgot something: A slide phone usually has a larger display than a flip.

everyone has a flip phone....be different and get a slide one...all your friends will be asking to see it...good luck

flip slide phones if you dont have a case it will be easier to do damage on the screen or dial by accident.

flip phone definately. i think it looks cooler when you have to open it to use it for something.
