Don't we sound sensitive today children.
I would be the first to conceed that America has room for improvment esp in our heath care system, but this is not the way to make friends Butter.

When you have been given the right to make the rules get back to us. In the meantime, try letting the rest of the world know that they shouldn't call us "America" as millions of them do, or for that matter refer to us all as "Americans", which is very common around the world. I'm sure Holland is a wonderful place, we don't claim to be the only country who has freedom. But like it or not, we are the main world power and we still carry a very big stick. I wouldn't give up my standard of living for anything. I am well educated and have excellent healthcare, as do my children. I really never brag about being #1, it seems a bit redundant when it is so obvious. Maybe you should try to reach all the immigrants that come here every year and convince them that America is not the place to be, they seem to be confused.

Take your NEW RULE and shove it! You or no other non American can make rules for me. And if you think Holland is so wonderful then good for you. That is as it should be. The people of The USA learn about Amerigo Vespuchi in grade school so we are well aware of the origin of our moniker. I am glad that you are proud of your country, but you have no idea of how deep our pride takes us as Americans. And even if we were to fall to the bottom of the heap, we Americans would still be #1 in our hearts, just as Holland seems to #1 in yours.
You in Holland lose people every year to a health system that lets it's patients die due to the fact that it takes so long to see a doctor.
The problem that they have goes undetected and worsens. Sometimes, as in cancer, it progresses way to far to fast to be stopped. And you can not deny this fact. Here n the USA we can see a doctor within days, and in the case of am emergency, within minutes. And, in the case of advanced medicine? Who is still the world leader? Who taught your doctors in advanced medicine? And don't point to other countries either, because we taught most of them.

How about we let citizens of the USA call themselves whatever they choose. After that let's talk a little about standards of living which, by the way are determined largely by GDP. GDP per capita for the U.S. is $41,000. The Netherlands: $30,300. GDP real growth rates for the U.S.A. and the Netherlands are 3.2% and 1.5% respectively. Unemployment in the U.S., 5.1%. Unemployment in the Netherlands, 6.6%. Aren't numbers great?

My standar of living is excellent. I have excellent healthcare that I don't have to wait 6 months for a blood test. Education is a choice, make the best of it or you don't. You cannot make someone learn, they have to want to. Why do people keep coming here to better their lives? If Holland is so great, why isn't everyone moving there?

Sorry, you don't make the rules.
Nor do you decide who is #1.
Even with our faults, AMERICA (see I used it) is the greatest country in the world and the only place people actually die trying to get into instead of out of.

I suggest you go to Holland and get some wooden shoes to go with your wooden head. We are working on our problems, not handing out free drugs. And by the way, the proper title is "Netherlands" and you can"t use it unless you know what it means.
