maybe your allegoric to the hair removal chemicals. When I got my eyebrows waxed the lady said that the swelling and redness would go away in a little, but it didn't!! Two weeks later I had these blotchy patches all over. Check the ingredients in the Back, that's my best advice.

you might be allergic to the wax,
skin on the face is thin,
if you are on any blood thinners you shouldn't be waxed,
are they using a pre waxing and post waxing cream?

the wax may also be too hot on your skin and is causing your skin to burn. try neosporin on it.
